Hydrotherapy Training

To become a Canine hydrotherapist you need to complete a course with modules on canine/feline first aid, pool water management, hydrotherapy theory, and canine anatomy and physiology. I assumed that you needed to be veterinary trained to be ale to do the training but you don’t, if you are already a veterinarian or veterinary nurse you can be excluded from some of the modules as you will have already completed similar.

ABC Awards provide an accredited Level 3 Certificate/Diploma in Hydrotherapy for Small Animals. This qualification is offered by a number of hydrotherapy centres across the country.
